Welcome to Gigi’s Knotty People! Founded by Shari Huss, our journey began with the simple joy of hand-knitting blankets and evolved into a beloved endeavor creating unique, plush characters known affectionately as “Gigi’s People.” Each piece is more than just a product; it’s a story of love and craftsmanship, hand-knitted in Omaha, Nebraska.

Gigi’s Knotty People originated from cherished moments with my granddaughters, exploring the art of chunky hand-knitting and crafting custom-made gifts for friends and family. This small passion project quickly grew into a thriving part-time career, driven by a love for the craft and the overwhelming demand for our unique designs.

We pride ourselves on the uniqueness of our creations—each one is hand-knitted, ensuring that no two items are the same. Whether it’s a cozy throw, a snuggly plushie, or a stylish accessory, every stitch is made with care, attention to detail, and, most importantly, love.
